In other First Division action, Finn Harps will host Cobh Ramblers, UCD will travel to Kerry, and Athlone Town will be on the road to Wexford. In the Premier Division, Derry City will travel to Bohemians, chasing their first away win in the league since April. Second‑placed St Patrick's Athletic will travel to Drogheda United, and Dundalk will host Galway United. A crucial clash at the bottom of the table will see Sligo Rovers host Waterford.
Cork City’s manager Tommy Barrett will be eager to see his side regain momentum after the setback against Cobh, and the club’s supporters will be hoping for a decisive victory to keep the promotion push alive.
