Cork City prepare to host Finn Harps on Friday aiming to halt a two-match losing streak. The First Division leaders have seen their form dip with defeats to Athlone Town and Longford Town in their last two outings.
They remain top of the table with 71 points from 34 games, holding an 18-point advantage. Their recent record against Finn Harps offers encouragement ahead of the Turners Cross clash. City won the last meeting 3-0 away in July and thrashed Harps 4-0 at home in late May.
Tim Clancy's side will look to rediscover their scoring touch after netting just twice in those recent losses. The manager named an unchanged starting eleven for the trip to Athlone, with Sean Maguire on the scoresheet in the 2-1 defeat.
Finn Harps arrive sitting tenth in the division. The match kicks off at 19:45 local time on Friday, 9 October. City's next assignment after this is detailed on our fixtures schedule.
