Cork City have confirmed a €1 ticket deal for children for their final home game of the season. The 'Kids for a Quid' offer applies to the visit of Finn Harps to Turner's Cross on Friday, October 9th.

Tickets for children aged 12 and under are priced at one euro, with one adult able to bring up to two children at that rate. The club said the initiative aims to make the promotion celebration accessible for families. Tickets are available now through the official club website.

The fixture is the club's last at home for the 2026 League of Ireland First Division campaign. Following the final whistle, Barry Robson's side will be presented with the league trophy after securing a return to the Premier Division. Cork City sit first in the table with 71 points from 34 games, 18 points clear at the top. Their next fixture is against 10th-placed Finn Harps, a team they beat 3-0 away in July.

Forward Seani Maguire highlighted the significance of the occasion. "The whole squad is delighted to have brought this club back up to where it belongs, the Premier Division," Maguire said. He urged supporters to bring the next generation along for the Friday night event.

Top scorer race adds intrigue

On-field interest will also focus on the tight race for the division's Golden Boot. Three City players are separated by just three goals at the top of the charts: Seani Maguire leads with 16, followed by Ruairí Keating on 15 and Hans Mpongo with 14. The club noted that the trio are all in contention to finish as the league's top scorer, adding a competitive subplot to the celebratory evening. Manager Barry Robson commented on the team's form ahead of the finale. Robson stated. The club's recent form shows one win in their last five outings, but the focus is firmly on the celebratory finale.

In addition to the trophy presentation, the club has planned post-match festivities for fans on the pitch, allowing them to join the players in marking the achievement. Tickets for the promotion party against Finn Harps are on sale through the club's official ticketing platform.
